What we remove
Virus, malware and scam removal is a fixed £69. That covers pop-ups, fake antivirus, malware, and browser or Windows protection cleanup.
Remote access tools
We find and remove remote-access programs a caller can use to see your screen, watch what you type, or open your files.
Removing malware
We remove adware, hidden tracking, and fake antivirus pop-ups.
A security check
We look through browser extensions and programs that start with Windows, and we set up antivirus so the same problem is less likely to come back.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about virus and scam clean-ups.
What should I do if I have already let a scammer onto my machine?
If money or banking access is involved, contact your bank straight away. Disconnect it from the internet and hold off logging in until we've had a look. Then bring it to us.
What are the common signs of an active malware infection?
Watch for a PC that's suddenly slow, freezes, opens strange websites or throws up pop-ups. If your cooling fans suddenly start running loud when your device is sitting idle, background software may be executing processes without your knowledge.
Will I lose my family photos and documents during a cleanup?
We'll protect your photos and documents while we clean the PC, and tell you first if there's any risk to them.
What exact postcodes and neighbourhoods do you service?
Collection and return are free across SS11 and SS12, including Shotgate, Runwell, Brock Hill and Nevendon. In Basildon, Billericay, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Rayleigh and Southend, drop-off at 32 Glebe Road is by appointment, or collection is by arrangement. The same clean-up is open to the rest of South Essex.
